Week two saw our first eleminitation and it is probably no big secret of surprise that the first female contestant eleminated from season six Dancing With the Stars was Monica Seles. Although her work ethic and effort were fantastic, her execution and entertaining ability were just not there. One reviewer said it was like her partner was dragging a life size Monica Seles cardboard cutout around the dance floor. Anyway, good for her for trying and so long.
Week three has narrowed the field but we can still expect Kristi Yamaguchi to lead the pack. I think it is clear that she is the top female contestant, although Shannon Elizabeth is going to give her a pretty good run for her money. Priscilla Presley slipped a little in her performance last week and you have to wonder if she will be able to keep up the pace with the rest of the ladies. Marlee Matlin is also working really hard, lets see if that keeps her in the chase.
